Dr. Mariam Nasir
Dr. Mariam Nasir grew up in Fairfax, Virginia right outside of Washington D.C., where she completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at George Mason University. She obtained her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and relocated to Texas to complete her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Health/UT Southwestern. After falling in love with Dallas and its surrounding communities, her family moved to Texas.
It was her love of working with children and watching them grow over time that propelled Dr. Nasir in choosing a career in general pediatrics. She enjoys building long-term relationships with families and helping them make choices that promote healthy, happy lives. She takes care of all ages from newborn to 21 but has a particular interest in adolescent medicine, including mental health and menstrual irregularities.
Dr. Nasir and her husband have one son. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, cooking, exercising, and traveling.
